customised programmes, we create spaces where learners are encouraged to explore their interests, think critically, communicate clearly, and work with

We design our work so that students do not just prepare for an event, but build skills that stay with them beyond the classroom that they can use in academic settings,
careers, and their everyday lives.

About Us
Pratarka’s journey began in 2017 when two Delhi University law students, Hanumant Singh and Shivansh Agarwal, recognized the critical need for debate and Model UN training to empower students with essential life skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, and confident leadership. Starting with two institutions in Delhi, they laid the foundation for a transformative educational initiative. In 2019, Prachurjya Phukan joined the mission, bringing fresh perspectives and valuable insights. From those initial partnerships, Pratarka has expanded to serve over 32 institutions across 9 states and 11 cities, becoming one of India’s first educational organizations to successfully integrate soft skills development into regular school curricula. Through every challenge, including the pandemic, our commitment to transforming the Indian education landscape has only grown stronger.

By partnering with educational institutions, governments, and organisations, we aim to make structured skill-building programmes a core part of how young people learn – so that every student has the opportunity, support, and tools they need to pursue their goals.
