SpeakINDIAis not a language program - it does not wish for young learners to become

walking thesauruses. It is aimed at aiding the regular educational mode with an added

focus on developing skills that puts them ahead of the curve. One of the things that

this program focuses on is effective communication - what is the best way to get your

ideas across to other individuals? The core concern in this aspect is not the student’s

comfort/relationship with a language, rather it is with knowing and deploying logic to

convince others who are listening to them. At Pratarka, we are of the strong opinion

that an individuals’ hold over a language is not simply precipitated by their knowledge

of grammatical structures, rules, and vocabulary. It has to be accompanied by a

familiarity that can only be attained/acquired through practice.

It is designed to equip students (Grades III to XII) with the essential skills of public speaking, critical communication, problem-solving, and collaborative creativity. The program follows a three-pronged approach:

 

1. Public Speaking & Critical Communication – Helping students develop clarity, confidence, and structured verbal expression.

2. Critical Thinking – Training students in logical reasoning, argument analysis, and structured problem-solving.

3. Critical Writing – Encouraging structured thought, patience, and self-discipline by refining ideas through writing before verbal articulation.
